Looking for some input for 2025. I mainly bow hunt, sometimes muzzleloader, rifle only a couple times in the last 25 years. I have 5 NR points in Colorado I’m looking to burn next year. I have to keep it in early season. Work is to busy come mid November. I have only hunted Colorado once for third season. It was a blast, but I just can’t swing late season anymore. A couple questions, Is muzzleloader better because it overlaps archery? If you had to choose between the two which would you prefer from your own experience?

If you have the time I'd do archery, a lot more days to the season. Less pressure at archery opener than after deer and elk hunters have been pushing around.
I did shoot my muley last year, with a bow, during the muzzy season while trying to get my wife on a muzzy bull, still in velvet on the 16th.

Following... sitting with 4 NR deer points in CO. Burned 3 elk points this year and shot my first bull. Need to get back in those mountains ASAP!
