Same as last year. It's Carl's crew and then everyone else. Maybe not quite as dominant this year but will win it going away.

@LostArra ? Looks like you got a decent coaching staff now.....
Wrong Cowboys. I actually wrestled at U Wyo. I wasn't good enough for Ok State roster in the 70s. My longtime elk hunting buddies are ex Ok State wrestlers so I keep up with both teams.

D Taylor definitely has Ok St moving in the right direction. They look in much better condition and more aggressive for bonus points. Their dual competition is ramping up with Missouri, Little Rock, Iowa St and Iowa to finish the dual season and should be telling as will the next few recruiting classes.

Did anyone hear the Meateater podcast #627 from Penn St? Levi Haines and Tyler Kasak are on the show. No indication if they will be there for a decade like Starocci.

I'd like to say no on Ferrari but he was so dominant when he quit. How much has he lost???

I think that weight is wide open at nationals.

#3 Ok State wins exciting dual at #5 Northern Iowa tonight 22-14. Transfers Amine, Hamiti and Hendrickson all with bonus point victories.

Keckeisen still a beast for UNI just not beast enough for Starocci in March

I think Gable Steveson renamed him AJ Ford Focus a few years back during a twitter feud. I thought it was hilarious. Not that I am a big fan of either wrestler. Definitely cool to see Taylor become a coach. He was so much fun to watch over the years. Love watching breakdowns of his ankle pick

Been trying to check in on progress every few weeks. Catching duals on flowrestling YouTube channels. Seen a lot of UNI wrestlers really getting after it.

That was pretty much my weekend take:

Impressed with Schwab and UNI. Put together a pretty good Dual team. Lots of ranked kids in the 15-29 slots that are scrappy

RE: Okie State- Agree. I think just having DT in the room really sparked things. I am sure there are long time John Smith fans that think it's blaspheme. But....these kids looks scrappy. Cam Amine my LEAST favorite. So boring. But he looked alive finally vs Iowa State.

Being a Levi Haines fan.....I've always liked Hamiti....he scares me come NCAAs. I always get scared and bet AGAINST Penn State at the end of the year. And fully realize they generally OVER PERFORM at that show. And Levi generally goes through a mid year slump and has tight matches. I assumed that was weight cut and confidence. He should have neither of those issues now. If they stay 1, 2 and 3 seed....I put Hamiti over O'Toole in the semis and Hamiti over Levi in the finals. He looks THAT good.

Wyatt was a huge catch. He's fun and exciting to watch. Adds to that team. I've not watched a Gable match yet this season. Kerk is pretty boring for the most part, but I am not sure Wyatt's really been close? But if there is a Black Horse at HWT it's Wyatt. More than a puncher's chance.

Cowboys win the title of Least Amount of Teeth on a team. I was telling and showing my wife. Then another kid popped up missing teeth. Taegen, Plott and one more.

Anyone have a solid pick they'd stick money on at 125? Ramos still undefeated ?

Following, I didn't grow up wrestling but I do jiu jitsu which pulled me in. Probably watch that more than any other college or professional sport aside from NFL. Nothing caught my eye recently other than Ridge Lovett's match with Van Ness during the Nebraska - PSU duel. He looked solid.

Lovett is a beast. You don't want to have to go under him. One of the few Huksers that hasn't underperfomed when the bright lights come on. He should be in the finals again. Henson has his number. Better on his feet and never has to gut underneath him.

Ridge is from just a few miles down the road from me. "Local" kid. I am very high on him too. Everyone touts Tyler Kasak coming back from a round 1 loss to taking 3rd last year.....handing Ridge a Major Decision enroute.

But that was a pissed off and mentally checked out Ridge on the back side.

Lovett did look so solid vs Van Ness. Not sure my money goes on him for Finalist, but he's for sure right in there.

I'm high on several of the Husker. Antrell Taylor is tough. Was very surpised Kasak handled him last week.

Lenny Pinto was a brute up at 184. Levi didn't really get ANY offense going against him. Match was closer than the score board in my opinion.

My good friends kid grew up wrestling side by side with Van Dee. If he's not wrestling...he's in a tree stand.
