Played with one at REI. They save space, but without putting them on a scale they felt as heavy if not heavier than a Nalgene.

Same here. I just use the collapsible platypus ones. Platy™ Bottle have a couple of different sizes. Extremely durable.

Yep I have been using platypus for quite some time . I am just looking for a wide mouth soft bottle that will fit in the Kifaru bottle holder. I am one of those quiet the sloshing guys.
I went into the store that had them a few months ago and they were gone. Oh well

Seems interesting. I use the platypus as a back up and a regular Nalgene to put in the Kifaru holder. May try one of these just to see how durable. may be a good option on the raft or in the vest when slinging fly's?
