Thermarest NeoAir XLite is what my family runs all season. They're light, pack down tiny and warm, we love them. Carry a patch kit of some form just in case though. If they leak, zero padding and zero insulation.

Xlites are ok down to freezing or so, but after that the Allseason or Xtherm really do better. The rectangular Xtherm is a particular favorite of mine, although full retail price is impressive.

I have an Xtherm and the Exped Downmat UL9. I'd use the Downmat in anything other than archery season. But I really don't care for the "integrated pump". It takes three times as long as blowing up the Xtherm.

I use my thermarest polite all season and when it gets really cold I add a ridge rest or other cc. The cc pad is lightweight and coupled with the regular pad is plenty warm even when winter camping.

Nemo. Thicker, bigger, lighter, quieter, and less expensive.

xtherm- it's so light (and warm) I've sold my just slightly lighter neoairs, combined with a thin ccf pad I've taken it down below zero winter camping
