Cold day on the Montana prairie

This hunt was a brutally cold day, but my 11 year old daughter "manned" up and headed out with me for an evening hunt. She was rewarded for her efforts. and made an excellent shot with the little ol' 22-250. Good times and lots of smiles.... and cold fingers!

I've hunted below zero plenty of days in eastern Montana. Rubber gloves to keep your hands dry while gutting are a must. Nice shot!
