You have yet to answer the question yourself though. He already answered it. Nothing happens when you pour water on a hot suppressor and barrel. It was answered again by someone else who referenced the spec sheets from barrel manufacturers. Nothing happens. So, what is it you are after? what did you question that wasn't answered?
