I have a stash of hotel tea and coffee hotel packets but I'm trying to get Eric Hadley at Got Your 6 Coffee to put together something for people like us.

Gotta just go with cowboy coffee. Just boil the grounds in water. A splash of cold water will settle the grounds to the bottom of the pot. Pour a cup and enjoy. Don’t drink it all the way to the dregs, throw them out. And whatever you do...NEVER WASH THE POT. I like my coffee really strong and even made cowboy coffee at home. Now that I’m married and “civilized”, we have a coffee pot. It’s not the same.
A 2nd here on never washing the pot. I dedicate my pot to nothing but boiling water and my coffee cup is just that. A little scald and scrub with a plain clean cloth does the trick for cleaning with no aftertaste.

Update from me: Black Rifle coffee just came out with their instant coffee. Can’t wait to try it. I’ll be doing a stick of theirs and a packet of the dark timber vapor

Jordan did you ever end up trying the BRCC instants? I was thinking of trying them out.

I don't care much for actually drinking the coffee (I hate sipping warm drinks, makes me feel like I should be doing something else more productive) but I do have my caffeine addiction to maintain. So I bring dark chocolate covered espresso beans and just eat big a handful in the morning or just mix ground espresso into oatmeal.

The BRCC Black Powder just kicked vias to the curb. It's not even close. This stuff is good.

I'll have to give the Black Rifle packs a shot. I've 99% boycotted Starbucks due to their... err... "leftness" but have still been using Vias because I hadn't found anything else nearly as good for going light/ backpacking. Fingers crossed.

Do you mean they're popular with the left or are you referring to political activity of the company? The only thing I'm aware of is that they have a program to hire vets that last I heard provided 8k vets with jobs with a goal of 10k by a specific time (don't recall exact date). I don't buy Starbucks either but mainly because I think their coffee sucks.

I was referring to Starbucks views. Hiring vets is cool, and I imagine it makes them feel politically ballanced. I have very different views from the company, but ultimately I'm just not cool with my money going to things like Planned Parenthood -- especially when and where I know about it. I honestly feel bad even buying Via. It's a me thing, and I am happy to see there might be another tasty option out there that will allow me to feel good about myself. Ironically, it's like coffee that will actually help me sleep at night.

Haha, I get it. I don't have an issue with PP myself, but wasn't aware Starbucks contributed. Thanks for the info.

Pretty sure I'm just gonna order the little tea bag packs and make my own trail packs with BRCC Ak47 that's my favorite.
Sipping some rite now.

Black Rifle Coffee. Run by Vets, hires Vets, and if you sign up for the Coffee Club, you can get your items shipped free. Make the shipments come weekly, monthly, or whenever, and you can cancel it at any time. I use the Medium Roast. Awesome !!
