Cocoa Beach FL

The family and I will be in Cocoa Beach, Florida for the day later this month. Any suggestions on things to do or see? Two boys ages 4 and 6. Let me know!

Go to Kennedy for sure. Ron Jon, check out the base. Cocoa Beach itself is the touristy area. Cocoa, Merritt Island, and Melbourne are all the surrounding towns where the locals are.

KSC for sure, Ron Jon's, the pier, the beach house, Sebastian to the south is a neat sleepy town

The Space Shuttle exhibit at the KSC Visitor Center is really impressive.

Buy some cheap fishing rods at Walmart and do some fishing. Not that it would be a trophy catch, but you could get some dead shrimp or squid and catch catfish from the bridges. Kids don’t care what they catch, they just like catching fish. May also be able to get some inexpensive crab traps and chicken necks and catch some blue crabs at the same time.
