Co unit 551 camp questions

I am looking at hunting 551 next year for 2nd rifle and looking for info regarding roads to the needle creek res. I am driving a Tacoma and dragging a 6’x12’ enclosed for gear. I have been looking at maps of the area and know that I need to be smart about where I’m going but I was hoping to get info on the roads leading to the reservoir. Are they usually in good shape or is it really difficult to get in and out? We will be using my truck and my dad is using a sxs for transportation for hunting. I am also looking north of 50 at hot springs as an alternate location. Getting plans together for both. Any info on the roads for that season and camp locations would be great. I can e scout to find where I want to hunt. Don’t need that info. It would help but that’s part of the experience and to many want it handed to them. Thank you in advance.
