CO Bird Hunting

@BoomerMillie13 take your species and locations out of your posts. This thread is available on any search engine for anyone to see. You're running a good good chance of blowing up things for other hunters.

Take that stuff to PM.

Posting a desire to hunt one of the more common game birds in the state along one of the most popular rivers that stretches 180 miles across the state…. I’m all for avoiding specifics on public forums but I disagree with your concerns are a bit ridiculous here. God forbid Boomer decides to blow up the CO river basin next

Calling out a put-in is moronic and you know full well the river only flows one way from there. Turns X miles of river into an X marks the spot. There's zero reasons why you guys cannot throw waypoints around non-stop via PM.

Man, I just don’t see eye-to-eye with you on this specific instance. Not a single person has commented on how the hunting is and that is a public put-in that you can easily find from plenty of other sources.

Will you post your deer and elk parking locations where you start walking from? Public spot that anyone can find, right?

Nobody needs to comment for the information to live on forever to anyone who wants to read it. It is also in direct violation of Rokslide's rules https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/rokslide-forum-rules-etiquette.277022/

@Team4LongGun you popped in here and letting these slide, that population is far more fragile than a deer or elk herd, and naming specifics for that species is no less of a violation than it is for ungulates.

Not sure why your calling me out....I am not "letting anything slide". I concurred with you and gave a recommendation. Just as the rules state, we hope members can see the value of leaving some things vague.

Your posting the rules, and I don't see a rule violation for naming bird species.

We still are a hunting forum, where folks can discuss such. We actually get reports from some that when they see their home state mentioned, they report it. That's taking it too far.

I tagged you because you read the violations, and left them there.

#3 unit specific question/answer
#4 posting specific locations/trailheads
#5 leaving in the where

If someone posted up your elk spot you'd delete it. Just because it's not your locale and you aren't a bird hunter doesn't mean the cause and effect are not the same.

So are you going to berate the others for mentioning spots in NW Colorado, or is that not worth the effort because they don’t directly impact where sndmn11 goes? Your arguments are terribly one sided man.

Those rules are extremely vague, and you’ve clearly misconstrued the hell out of them.
