For those of you who might be looking for a shorter handle for your Co-Ax, here's what I did today. I used a 3/4" oak dowel and a dog's Kong toy ball. The hole in the Kong toy is exactly 3/4 inch, so it worked perfectly. I used Titebond III glue to glue the Kong ball onto the dowel. I'm still waiting for the glue to dry but I think its going to be perfect.

I like that, a couple of years ago I shortened the original arm by about 2-3 inches but it is still too long. I might try that

Applaud your DIY handle, well done!

FYI, if you won't want to make one they sell a short handle for the Co-Ax press as well. Always hated the long handle and put the short one on mine years ago.

I'm quite happy with the factory short handle. The ball has an injection mold defect which is not easy on the hands, but it polishes out easily.

I don't use the long handle for any reloading anymore.

Kong ball and a 6” piece of 1/2” plumber pipe. I just need to sand and grind the pipe a little bit to fit . Great idea RodgerB.
