Im pretty much new to ml and inlines. How do you guys clean your breech plugs after you shoot? I have a irrational fear of my plug being occluded after this happened to my old hawkins.

Depending on the type of plug you’re using and powder/primer/caps you’ll need to use a drill bit to remove the carbon from the flash channel. This is the most important step. Then soak with a cleaner like Simple Green/Zap/Hoppes and scrub/wipe off. I like brass or stainless brushes and pipe cleaners. Solvent alone won’t get all the carbon out - you have to use a proper sized drill bit.

Hot water for me too. I pull the nipple every time and use a tooth brush on the hard to reach stuff.

Fwiw, I only shoot 777 and real black powder.
