Cleaning boots

I take an old toothbrush (soft) and gently scrub the boots. Once air dried (in the shade), I will then apply the boot wax.

Diluted detergent with a very soft brush then air dried over night .. for protection I use Granger G-Wax .. did a comparison where I used Nikwax on one boot and G-wax on the other .. Nikwax boot started to get wet after day 2 .. G-wax took me about 5 days to get wet .. G-wax is applied the same way as shoe polish .. I much prefer it and its cheaper per use then Nikwax too

I usually use horse hair brush to scrub dirt on the surface first, and then use the saddle soap to clean my boots.
