I have a scope I'll be looking to sell shortly, but I have a few witness/index marks made with red paint pen. Has anyone removed something like that successfully without leaving obvious discoloration? I've used acetone on an older Nikon scope but it left pretty distinct blotches. I can let a buyer deal with it but obviously would prefer to get things cleaned up and as close to NIB as possible for both of our benefit.
