I’m struggling to make a decision on which Ckye pod to get for my new 300 wm build. This is a short barreled mountain rifle so weight is a consideration but I’m also willing to sacrifice for better functionality.

Any advice on Single vs double pull? Not sure the extra 3” is really going to do much for overall usability of positions. For high shots I’d plan to use the tripod instead of bipod.

As far as I can tell the difference between the lightweight vs regular is 3 oz, $100 more, no tension knob, and baracade stop. Is the missing tensioner an issue? Any recommendation on one vs the other?

For 99% of shots the single pull is going to be more than enough adjustments. The double pull doesn't add enough to allow you to shoot sitting in a comfortable position.

I haven't ran a lightweight personally but I have been around a few! You should still be able to adjust the tension with that front screw it would just require tools. The normal one is so tight anyways that you have to get a punch out to rotate it so its pretty much the same.

One other option is get the standard and hack on the barricade stop with a die grinder to remove a few oz. Might not look quite as good as the lightweight but it works!
