Took my old trusty Barrett Fieldcraft 6.5CM. Shoots lights out and got the job done. I was leaning towards the CA in 6.5 PRC but when I had questions, there was no question.

I think the drop in velocity makes sense considering the information given. It sounds like it was a tight chamber causing a slightly higher pressure before sending it back.
