Very true. And likewise, if you want to go even a tad lighter, and get the benefits of a chassis... use an mdt hnt26 stock with the xtn adapter, and swap the mdt stock for an ultralight buffertube tube style stock (like on AR15 or XLR chassis). In non folder config, I got the whole hnt26 stock under 18oz if I recall. Drop this BA in there and you've got a sub 5lb "custom" chassis rifle. If that's your thing anyway.can knock another pound off that rifle by putting it in a new CA FFT stock for about $450, sub 5 lb. rifle.
