I don’t like the hand guard wrapping the barrel so I run it through my table saw and then cast it with a miter saw as seen. Have added folding, mdt carbon, and titanium grips.. I’ll get the weight of one of them when I get home. If using a custom action with integrated lug or a heavy lug, you have to open up the recoil lug area.

MKM makes grips with them integrated. That’s what i use.
