I recently bought a used Classic Carbon in 7mm mag. It was sent to Christensen by the previous owner and had the bottom metal replaced to accept the AICS magazines. I’m thinking about changing it out for the standard floor plate and integral mag. I don’t have the original parts so I’d have to purchase new or trade someone.
Has anyone had any experience with this conversion to know if this would work or if the stock was modified and the original configuration and wouldn’t work now?
