I bought this Christensen Classic Carbon .300RUM on a whim, and then decided my CA .300WSM will do the job. So this one is for sale. Cosmetically, there is one small rub spot on the bottom of the buttstock near the sling stud. You can see it in the last photo. Otherwise, the rifle is in as-new condition. There are no other blemishes. The barrel has received the proper break-in.
It weighs 6 lbs. 8-1/2” oz. as pictured. Yes, it’s a lightweight! Includes 26” carbon-wrapped barrel with 1.6-ounce titanium radial brake, SS receiver with integrated rail, carbon fiber single stack magazine, and a factory Timney trigger. The stock is carbon as well, painted black with gray webbing.
The rifle shot ½” groups at 100 yards during barrel break-in, meeting the guarantee made by Christensen. The recoil was similar to my .270 Win that does not wear a brake….very manageable. There are absolutely no issues with this rifle. Only reason to sell is it’s sort of a duplicate caliber, and I’d like to buy something else. You know how it goes; one toy out for one toy in. I have a little over two boxes of premium ammo and a set of Warne Mountain Tech 30mm rings for sale cheap to the buyer, if wanted.
$1,800 shipped to your FFL. Remember, this is the Classic Carbon….a large step above the Ridgeline in quality and features. I accept Paypal F-n-F and USPS money orders for payment. Make sure your FFL will accept this rifle from an individual, with appropriate ID enclosed. I'm new to Rokslide, but you can look me up under the same ID at 24HourCampfire and Gunbroker. You can also find me on eBay under the ID scottielover1 and find I've done over 1,500 transactions over 21 years and never had a negative feedback. Drop me a PM if you’d like more photos. The rifle is cross-posted so time stamp prevails on the first "I'll Take It". Thanks for looking.
