Have a nice Christensen Arms 6.5 PRC with 24" barrel that shoots absolute lights out. Speeds with factory 145gr ammo was right at 3000fps. The only real ding I can see is on the bolt handle. I showed it in a picture. Round count is roughly 100.
I am just wanting something a little lighter weight still because I only rifle hunt out west where weight matters. This one is light especially with the carbon barrel but I am after as light as I can get. I still want it to be 6.5 PRC though which is a challenge. I may consider 6mm creedmoor (NOT a 6.5 creedmoor). There's only a few nice rifles lighter that I can think of besides a build. I don't want any cheap plastic guns. One would be a Seekins Havak PH2, PH3, or Element, or a Bergara Cima or carbon squared crest, a Christensen Ridgeline with a shorter barrel, a weatherby mark v alpine or 307 alpine, or my favorite which is a Tikka with a shorter barrel and an aftermarket stock.
The only other trades I would be interested in is high end scopes. Primarily a Leupold Mark 5hd 3.6-18x44 illuminated FFP TMR or a Mark 4hd 2.5-10x42 Illuminated FFP TMR plus $400. Would also take a nightforce NX6 2-12x42 in FFP MIL or a Steiner H6Xi 2-12x44
