Bought this about 6 months ago but I'm just not getting along with the 6.5 CM. Thought I might rebarrel this gun but I have decided I'm going to stick with my trusty Savage rifles.

This started out as a Mesa and I upgraded to the FFT ultralight carbon fiber stock. It has a stainless action and barrel with the titanium cerakote.

Barrel has been cut and re-crowned to 21" and the rifle weighs just 5.5 lbs. bare. I will throw in a pair of 1" Talley medium rings. I'm keeping the scope.

This rifle shoots 100 grain Barnes TTSX into itty bitty groups. 3/4" on average. I'll take a big hit on this one but my loss is your gain. If you're looking for a lightweight mountain rifle in 6.5 CM, this is your deal of the day.

Will ship via USPS only to an FFL that will accept from an individual. I will need a copy of the dealer's FFL to ship.

Rifle is now SOLD to NewMexicoKid

Did this start out as an FFT rifle or is this a regular Mesa with an FFT stock swapped? It looks from the picture that the bolt handle is steel and I thought the FFTs had a carbon bolt handle and floor plate.

Mesa with the FFT stock swap. Good catch. Sorry if I mislead anyone. Not my intent. I didn't realize the original FFT's had a carbon handle and floor plate.

Can't figure out how to edit the title but this rifle started out as a Mesa and I sold that stock and swapped it for the FFT stock.

Thanks ElCidAviator

Not misleading at all, just wanted to clarify. That’s an awesome package for the right price.

I've been offered to trade this for a Browning BLR .308. It's very tempting. But I really don't need another rifle at the moment. Someone please buy this before I add that Browning to my collection!

Price drop this morning to $950

Couple tire kickers so far. One asked if the forend was stiff and it's rock solid. Zero flex in that stock.

I reminded another that I prefer PayPal but will accept other forms of payment, and I only ship via USPS Priority to a FFL that accepts from an individual. I haven't had an issue with this so far in 4-5 transactions, but I wanted to mention it as not all FFL's will accept from an individual.

Might just hold on to it for now. I can't bear to take any less than $900 for this rifle. I'd be taking a massive hit already vs. what I have in it.

It shoots very well, handles/balances great and is super lightweight with a very stiff CF stock. I just don't care for the 6.5 CM round. That's all. No issue with the rifle whatsoever.

Bump for a great deal, if I didn’t already have the ridgeline fft in my safe in 6.5 I’d buy this… heck I almost want to buy it anyways and chop the barrel to 18 and thread…

$900 is a smoking deal on this rifle! I've got 3 6.5's and trying to recoup from building our house or I'd be all over this! I wouldn't sell it for less than $900 myself, guys chasing light weight set ups need to really look close at this. Good luck!

Let's go halfies!

Better yet, you buy my 300wsm and when you want to use this one you can swing by the house and borrow it.

I’ve been drooling over this since I asked my question above. I think it’s the perfect rifle for my son, I just can’t muster the cash right now. I know you don’t like brakes/devices, but I’d have to get it threaded so he can shoot it suppressed, and that extra $ is the only thing holding me back. I’m trying to protect his ears better than I have mine.

Haha I’m over short mags… but I like that idea, except we need a custody hearing over where it will spend the fall at

You can have 1st and fourth, we get phorn, 2nd, and 3rd. I am trying to find something for my brother that can be his and not tear up a horned doe when we have the great BC horned pronghorn doe contest this year. If you get some free time and aren't on shift shoot me a text about your Ridgeline and I will pick your brain.
