Christensen Arms Action worth building off of?

I know CA qc and quality in general is trash, but does that apply to their actions as well or just their barrels? I have an MPR in 300PRC that I can't get to shoot well for the life of me. Last thing I'm gonna try before I give up on it is a trusted optic to make sure that wasn't the issue, but if it still shoots like garbage I'm done with it.

Question is it a bad idea to try to re-barrel it? Does their bad reputation for quality end with their barrels or does it apply to their other components as well? I like the action and chassis and for cost savings would like to just throw a heavy 26" outlier barrel on it but im worried if that wont make a difference since everything else is still CA.

I hope they are. I should be getting a Ridgeline back any day now after a re-barrel from a gunsmith.

Any reputable gunsmith should be able to put a new barrel on it.

A 7-300prc with a 185gr TMK would be fun. ADG makes headstamped brass in that chambering
