Took it out today for first time. With two factory boxes of ammo


Nosler partition 160gr. I got average of 3/4” groups. After about 15-20 shots. I got a half moa group

Cool deal BUT

HORNADY 162 gr precision hunter. I couldn’t touch a 12”x12” target . Why the heck would it not even be on paper mean while nosler is shooting great

I had a bad box of Precision Hunter 280AI ammo a few months ago. It was 200fps slower than the last box. Hornady replaced it.

I make my own ammo and only had that box because I wanted to use it as a baseline. If I am going to use factory ammo to hunt with, I'll pick the 140g Nosler BT (fast) load or a Federal Terminal Ascent load.
