Chop Time for Tikka 7-08

I cut my Tikka T3X lite 7mm-08 to 16.5". The barrel diameter at 16.5" was .660". The gunsmith felt that was enough for 5/8X24 thread. I only use direct thread, so deformation by torque on a muzzle device wasn't a concern. I have no regrets doing it.
