Anyone have any insight into different brands of wood arrow nocks? I’m building proper Doug fir hunting arrows for the first time, but I’ve only used bohning nocks before and they’re a little loose on my string. What do yall use for nocks? Is there an option out there with a bit more tension than the Bohning nocks?

I like the Classic Nocks. As far as fit to the string that would be determined by your serving size. Adjust the serving to fit whatever nock you choose.

Update: the AAE Plastinocks were significantly tighter, closer to an Easton X nock. The Bohning T nock fit perfect.

So to sum up:
-Bohning Classic Index nock: Too loose
-AAE Plastinock: Too tight
-Bohning T Nock: Just right
