I haven’t tried starline for the creed yet but have had good luck with the hornady brass.

Hornady brass is generally considered soft and not good for many reloading.

I have been using Starline for my 243 and I think it's some of the best for the price. I'm on my 5-6 reloading and haven't even trimmed it yet.

I have been using starline (large rifle primer) in my 6.5 Creedmoor since last summer. Starline seems to have less case capacity than the Hornady and reached max pressure sooner. So keep that in mind when picking a starting point. I am on 3 firings with starline and so far so good. I believe I was getting some loose pockets with Hornady at 3-4 firings with a similar velocity load.

I would go Starline over Hornad, I have never loved the hornady brass. If possible I’d recommend the Small Rifle Primer version.

With either brand brass I would recommend getting a primer pocket uniformer.

Je vais starline.
Je prends note des charges initiales; J'avais lu qu'ils étaient plus lourds que les cuivres hornady.
Merci beaucoup.

My son shoots a 6.5 Creedmoor started loading with Hornady then tried Nosler for a while then he found Peterson brass small primer . It is awesome brass tight tolerances in measurements and weight made a noticeable difference

Throw some Hornady on a digital scale one by one and you’ll be shocked. No consistency. I used starline for some time with good results but have recently switched to Peterson and wouldn’t ever go back.

This. Hornady is all over the place. However, when weight sorted (if you have enough brass to do so) it shoots pretty well.

I haven’t tried Starline but I can speak on Hornady brass. After the 3-4th firing the primer pockets were lose. I’d suggest spending a little more money and getting some small primer lapua brass. It will last you a long time if you anneal.
