Free to good home

I can meet on I10 between Houston, TX and Mobile, AL.

Female lab born February 25ish. (I got papers somewhere but never cared so I cannot find them

Up to date on all vaccines. All veterinary care done at VCA Southwest (Sugar Land TX).

She has a damaged front claw from an accident as puppy. Vet believes no issue will arise.

She will need eye care for eyelids turned in. I planned to do this with her neuter.

Her personality is rambunctious and very sweet. She hasn’t learned to keep her feet on the floor yet. She plays well with other dogs.

House broken and rings hanging bells on doorknob to signal she wants to go outside.

You can pickup or I will deliver with hard kennel.

Why am I rehoming her? Girlfriend, who wanted the dog, left and didn’t take her. I am starting a new job and I cannot leave her unsupervised or kenneled all day. Too hot to keep her outside. If she were already a year and could be left alone in the house, I’d keep her.

Colorado River Hunting Retriever club is in Alvin. Might be worth calling them and asking if any members are interested.

There are some other HRC chapters nearby that may know people too. Sort by state and TX is on pages 13 & 14 I think.
