I have a little orange piece I carry on my pack. 12” x12” and this helps. I dropped my pack when I was stalking a caribou. Got about 150-200 yards away from it. It still took me 20 minutes to find it in that flat tundra with the blaze orange!Yeah. The last time I dropped my pack on a stalk was on my son’s antelope hunt. Had to crawl through some tall grass up a hill to get within 150 yds. Only went about 60 yds from my pack but it took me an hour to find it!That was the last time for me.
I just drop a pin on onx. Problem solved.I have a little orange piece I carry on my pack. 12” x12” and this helps. I dropped my pack when I was stalking a caribou. Got about 150-200 yards away from it. It still took me 20 minutes to find it in that flat tundra with the blaze orange!
This thread got me thinking. I found the below on chinazon. I'm going to move my tourniquet to the bottom of my FHF FOB with these mounts. Unless someone has a better solution.

I consider my mount sacrificial in the instance that I need the tourniquet. Rip it out or cut it out if needed. I'd rather replace this one after every time I use it (hopefully never) than carry the extra weight of a more functional holster. FWIWSort of off topic, but it looks to me like the stretch loops would snag the TQ, probably actually difficult to access when you need it. A CAT TQ has hard hooks on one end to hold the bar, no way you can pull it through those stretch loops. If you go the other way, maybe it works, but there’s also a cinch buckle on that side to snag, too.
I use a tear-away Velcro TQ pouch. When you pull on the flap, the whole thing opens nice and wide.
Edit: I think this is the one that I have, but there are many like it. I don’t even use the stretch loop inside the pouch to hold to TQ. The Velcro is solid, it’s not going anywhere. Pull the flap and the whole thing opens up.
