Great post as I wanted to know as well. Currently I jerry rigged my 45 holster to the side belt area of my kifaru bag with paracord to the moly webbing. Works well but always thought since at times my pack might be on the ground a ways away thats useless. Chest rig sounds good. I heard eberlestock has a bino case that on the backside holds a handgun. Guess its a universal holder. Sounds good but id want a holster meant for my specific gun for retention purposes, bending over and climbing etc.
