Chest holster options

So I’ve been looking at getting a chest holster for my Glock. I really like the razco. I like that I can wear it with my agc bino harness or by itself.
Now Kifaru came out with their new bino harness with the option to buy a holster with it.

How does everyone like their razco? Does it hang to low under the agc?

Has anyone received their Kifaru setup yet?

I have a Razco stand alone chest rig for a Glock 20. I wear a separate bino pouch over the top of it. The straps are clear of the pistol and I have no trouble drawing. I like it being separate, so I can wear it around camp or while processing game without having the bino pouch in the way. I prefer the pistol up high on my chest vs low on my belly.

Yeah that was the one thing I was worried about was being too low. So you use it as a stand alone rig. And that makes sense too, because I like to take my bino harness off sometimes

I use a Gunfighter Kenai for hiking, and the Marsupial's attachable holster while hunting. I'd have no problem wearing the Kenai under a bind harness if I didn't already own the Marsupial attachment.

I really like my gunfighters kenai if I’m not wearing my bino harness.

If I need my binos I carry them and my pistol in a hill people gear kit bag.

I haven’t tried the razco holster yet but it’s for sure on my list to try.

I tried a Razco but didn't like how far it hung down when under the bino harness. It put the handgun over my belly button.

I use a Gunfighters Kenai and just wear it under the bino harness. Works well enough for me but not perfect. It also doesn't work well with certain handguns and bino harnesses. Worked very well with my G19 and G20 under my T&K harness. Works decently with my G20 under the FOB. Did not work well with my Stone Glacier harness. Works well with my buddies AGC harness I borrowed.

I have a Hoskings chest holster for my g20. Surprisingly comfortable and secure. Some elastic in the straps that helps with fit.

I’m looking for a chest holster for my Sig Sauer 1911 Full Size .45 ACP that can be positioned behind or attached to the back of a bino harness, similar to Venandi Holsters.

During my backcountry hunts, I wear my bino harness and backpack daily, whether I’m archery or gun hunting. I currently use the Diamond D Leather Guides Choice Chest Holster, which works well, but it squeaks too much when I’m wearing a pack. Additionally, I have to wear my bino harness higher than usual to accommodate the pistol.

I’m not a fan of having the pistol attach below the bino harness, as it gets in the way due to my small 5’ 8" frame. So, most bino company holsters are not an option for me. I’m open to non-leather holsters that can accommodate a pistol behind the bino harness, as long as they are not too bulky and don’t interfere with my bowstring at full draw.

I like the idea of Striver Gear, but I don’t know anyone who has tested their harness through a few western archery hunting seasons.

Safariland makes a chest rig that’s compatible with any of their holsters that run their 3-hole pattern. Pretty slick setup, especially if you already have a Safariland holster for your pistol.

I can't stand the high mounted chest holsters. To me it's unnatural to reach that high to draw..
I have need for an agc ravus compatible holster but want it behind or just below without a retention strap.

I went with the kenai. Wore it over 30 days so far under my bino harness and I could draw it easy and it’s very comfortable. Could forget it’s there it’s so comfortable

Check this out. Cool option. I got mine last week. I’m trying to fit in on a Kuiu harness but it’s not going to work. The Kuiu straps are too close IMO compared to normals straps that are closer to top and bottom.

Up for grabs if someone wants it.

Did you reach out to Savage? They have a video showing it mounts on Kuiu?
It looks pretty slick though!

I haven’t reached out yet. I’m waiting on another harness to try a different holster option on.

I couldn’t get it enough clearance with the holster I use which has a push button release.

Kuiu is a tough one because the waist belt is almost mid way up the harness. Leaving only a few inches. I see they set it up on the video and I can replicate. What I can’t do is get the pistol out quickly.
