Anyone shoot this:

SELLIER & BELLOT SB65D RIFLE 6.5 CREEDMOOR 156 GR SOFT POINT (SP)

Or this:

Norma Range and Training 6.5 Creedmoor 124 grain FMJ Full Metal Jacket

Just seeing it at .79 a round and thinking just trigger time, for off season. Less than half what I’m paying for Hornady….

Thanks for any info!

I haven’t shot it yet, but I did order 200 rounds of the S&B 140-grain 6.5 CM for offseason practice.

I’ve always had good results with their ammo. It shoots great in a few of the obscure European cartridges I use (7x57R and 8x57JR). And it shoots lights out in my custom .22-250.

Edit - the AAC bulk ammo can 6.5 CM 140-grain FMJ shot respectably too.

I have tried S&B for 6.5 CM. It didn't shoot very consistent for me, and I avoid it now. Buy a couple boxes to see how it shoots before committing to a bulk order.

I haven't tried that line of Norma, but both their Bondstrike and Whitetail factory lines of ammo have shot good in my Tikkas. Given only S&B and Norma options, I would personally lean towards taking a chance on Norma as a budget factory ammo option.

I was just looking at that Norma FMJ earlier today. I've shot probably 300 of the 143gr Norma Golden Target with great success. I rarely get over 1" groups. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the FMJ. Worst case, you get a ton of quality brass for reloading. FWIW, the cheapest stuff I've reloaded was only a few dollars cheaper per 50rds than buying the FMJ outright.

Or shoot the rounds, sell the 1x fired brass to cover gas money. Small savings here and there add up if you are shooting a lot.
