Chasing burns v. Same area

What are your guy's thoughts on chasing burns and having to learn new areas frequently vs having 1 or 2 areas that you know inside out.

If you need more specificity, my local unit has very low density/success but I do get a tag every year. There are usually multiple fires every year in it as well.

If you have a solid spot, keep that and scout the burns a few days before season (assuming we are talking rifle mid Oct or later hunts) increase your knowledge base, but burns are not always magical, and they attract a boat load of attention typically

Thanks. My "solid" spot(s) produce deer every few years for me. Public land success is probably in the 2-5% range so I am scraping for every edge I can get.
