Rain gear? Bug Gear?

I have the rest of my list hammered out just trying to figure out this side of it

We have had rain, hail, snow and sunshine on the same day. Permethrin on the clothes for ticks, usually don't have too many mosquitoes in mid-May but I use Picaridin on the skin for ticks and mosquitoes.

A couple years ago we had nonstop rain for 4 days. Killed a bear an hour after the rain stopped.

See you out there in a couple weeks maybe?

As mentioned Permethrin for ticks, I usually bring a small bottle of OFF w/ Deet with me as well to help with the other little nuisances but you're going to deal with them all either way.

Rain gear would definitely be coming with me (in the truck at the very least), make a game time decision when heading out for the day/ or if going in deep out of your pack look at the forecast to determine if pants are worth it or not; jacket would come with me regardless. I can usually get by with a jacket and gaiters.

That along with a tarp and some paracord to string it up in the event of a quick storm system blowing through, you should be good to go.

Yes to both. You can get all the weather in one afternoon. And the forecast is all lies and worthless. Ticks seem to depend on the area. Where I go we aren't really fighting the ticks but I find one here and there. I'd be prepared for them for sure.
