Hi guys. I'll be hunting in Alberta in May, flying out of Edmonton on my return trip. I've been reading about the customs preclearance at the Edmonton airport and have a few questions for anyone that has done this recently. My only recent flights with firearms have been to and from South Africa, and customs preclearance was not available.
1) First of all, can you use the preclearance when travelling with firearms?
2) I fly to Atlanta, then connect to Nashville. Is everything (Including my rifle) checked all the way through to Nashville? When returning from SA, I had to pick everything up, go through customs, then drop luggage off again.
3) What about hides? Checked all the way through?
Thanks!
