I shoot a Carter thumb button and keep it in my pocket while hunting. Occasionally, I notice the trigger travel screw will loosen as it gets hung up from going in and out of my pocket. Anyone experience this? Any suggestions to remedy this issue?

Thanks

If it’s truly a function of going in and out of your pocket, I think I would remove the screw, degrease it, and add a drop of blue lock tight. That should solve your problem.

I had a Carter release (nock 2 it) that was prematurely firing and reached out to Carter and they were awesome. Replaced the trigger mechanism with their new stuff. Zero issues since. So, rest assured that they stand by their products.

Will do appreciate the reply. I’m not 100% if it’s the screw loosening from going in and out of pocket. However, I noticed the travel seems to go very light. Had the bow fire on me while letting down. Afterwards, I went to set the travel and a 1 number clock turn released it. I usually have it set to 3-4 number clock turn. I’ll reach out to Carter and in meantime I’ll blue loctite it for rest of season.

Thanks

Reset the travel and was fine.
