Im new to photography wanted to know how does everyone carry their camera safely with them on hunts or non hunts. It seems like most people use the peak design mount but I use Arca Swiss plates for everything including my camera on a tripod and I wouldn’t think peaks design would be compatible with arca. I would possibly like to find a pouch big enough for my bino chest harness for ease of use but also more protected than the peak design system. Any suggestions?

Peak designs. The peak plate is arca Swiss sized, it’s just not long like a lot of arca plates come. But it’s sized right to fit arca heads. Cotton carrier is another one that may fit your requests

Peak designs is the best I’ve used. If you want extra protection, I have a cheap foam cover with Velcro on one end that covers the camera body and lens that I will put on it if I put the camera down in my pack.

I want it uncovered on the peak designs though for quicker access and find I take more pictures if the camera is easily accessible.

The peak design is what I have and it works in my arca tripods. Now I wouldn’t trust it to pack my camera on a tripod but it works just fine for photos.
I also have used the ape case for a lighter foam padded bag to put the camera in my pack.

Thanks for the recommendations. I was looking for one solution but now I’m sold on peak design and the ape case. Appreciate it
