Carrying a rifle while bow hunting id 10a

Is it true I can carry a rifle for my bear, mountain lion, and wolf tags while I am bow hunting with my elk tag? Hunting unit 10a in idaho.

Why not a shotgun too for grouse? I guess just asking why carry something that will be in the way. Probably is legal but I would call IDFG.

Yes you can carry a rifle. You could carry a rifle just to hunt coyote during archery elk season too. Idaho unlike most other states still believes in the 2nd amendment and the right to bear arms
