It worked out pretty damn well for the price. Heavy duty zippers and the 52” covered my browning xbolt long range pro w/brake.
Plus it has a small pocket for extra ammo or magazines.

I talked to the warden before hand and he said as long as it is zipped in the case he wouldn’t hassle me. I told him I was planning on zipping the gun in so the sling would be facing out so I could wear the gun over my shoulder while riding. With a red kettle sling this worked out pretty damn solidly. I put 225 miles on the quad over over 6 days and my shoulder rally didn’t even feel it.
Most importantly the gun never got a chance to get bumped or receive any type of vibration.

I’ve got Leupold VX-6. I trust the scope to hold zero but man after long rides sometimes things just seem to get loose and I’ve waited a long time to burn these points. If there’s any missing going on it better be on my shoulders and not something getting tweaked. I’m going to go the route of a cheap soft case.
Is this a troll? Can’t tell. Ha

Yeah, I located a solid buck in day 3 of the season and decided to go after him the next morning. I will have to do a post since I feel like it was an epic adventure worth the large amount of pts I burned on it.

Thanks to that cheap case and the sthealthy hunter scope and crown cover my rifle was dry and ready to go even in the hell of that late afternoon. I couldn’t say the same about my tripod since it somehow got iced up and I couldn’t spread the legs. Luckily it was such a close shot!IMG_0324.jpegIMG_0294.jpeg

Those goggles saved my hunt. I don’t know if I would have been able to see this buck with the other 2 he was with. About like skiing up in the back bowl of Abasin on a windy blue bird day without any eye protection!
Lol I may have to add goggles to the list. This last year the wife and I hunted through a blizzard blowing 25+ probably. Rain gear kept us alive but it was tough on the face for sure. Goggles ain't a bad idea and we already all have ski goggles.
