Planning a haul road trip for late August 2026. Was curious if anyone has any success from running decoys? We will bowhunt but also have rifles if we make it the 5 miles in. Been looking at the ultimate predator decoy for my bow

I've been trying to look for information on this same thing. I'll be up there around that time too, last week of August into first week of September.

I found some older posts from ~10+ years ago where people were using different decoys but seems like everyone had a similar outcome. They either didn't use the decoys they brought with them or if they did they only got to about ~100yards before the herd spooked.

What days will you be up there?
