I head out Friday for a 3 week trip. I did the same last year and lived in a tent at base camp...definitely a grind and hard to stay motivated and focused, especially the last week. Sleeping on a cot and wipe showers get old for that long.
This year I have a tiny square drop trailer, decent mattress and a portable hot water heater/shower. It's set up to where it's comfortable when back at camp while only taking up a small footprint. Sleeping good and being able to shower will hopefully keep my head in the game longer...as I need all of the help I can get. I'll also be not that far away from Durango, so I can take a day or two off if I want...go explore a bit and do some tourist stuff. Being a "newer" hunter, every minute I'm on the mountain teaches me something...so I'll spend as much time out as I can.
