Checked cards last night. Bigger 9 point just shed velvet in the last couple days and the fall plot I planted is doing very well. I hand spread some annual rye in a few patchy spots and we have rain forecast steady for the next few days so hopefully the germination will be adequate.

Couldn’t ask for more from the food plot, and the deer are enjoying the greens immensely. This is honestly more fun than the hunting at times.

Biggest NW Arkansas buck I’ve had in a long time. So close to Kansas and such smaller deer...

In PA you have a better chance of seeing Jesus ride a unicorn than a 5 year old buck.

I've yet to see Jesus ride a unicorn, but we get 5+ yr old bucks on cam every year. Hell sometimes we even kill them

couple decent East Texas public land deer. Good rack on one, great body on the other.
