CarbonSix sent me a 20" 6.5 PRC prefit with their new ECM riflings. With Factory ELDMs and ELDXs, it's been impressive.

Like I said in that thread. I've never had a McGowen prefit but there GS barrels have been fantastic for me.

Had six round from another lot of 147s a little slower but still shot very well.

I think I’m at 10 Mcgowen Tikka prefits now. Only one hasn’t shot really well.

Small sample size but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

The ecm process is neat. Makes a lot of sense. Hopefully it holds consistent.

I’m getting 2942 fps average from my 21” (non ECM) barrel with factory 143 eldx 6.5 prc and I’ve been very happy with the groups it will spit out. I thought I read something on C6s website previously that hinted the ECM were going to be faster than their standard barrels.

This one is 50 fps faster than my two other 20” 6.5 PRCs. But one don’t tell ya much

I’m close to that and all have shot great. Had one they cut the chamber too deep but I didn’t want to deal with it, so I just false shoulder fire formed for it. It was supposed to be a 7-08 Ackley, so I just got a tiny powder capacity bump for the hassle of adding a step to fireforming that one.
