Anyone familiar with tent repair work in western WA? I have a 10 x 12 canvas tent with a torn corner from trying to fit it on a frame that was too big. Suggestions?

I also almost failed home-ec, but I bought one of the stitching awls, googled a few YouTube videos on how to use it - then sewed a few patches in my pop-up trailer canvas when I had it. Also used it to sew a stove jack and clear vinyl windows into my 'cook tent' which is nothing more than a car port shelter. Its easy, a little time consuming, but with 2 people it can go pretty fast and its a heavy duty sewing job. A good skill to have in the long run too in case you get a tear out in the field.
