I just bought a scope off here not long ago, a bushnell for my 22. I was just wondering.. Can anyone tell me what size the housing would be for sight clamps (I'm not a gun guy at all... 99.9% of my shooting/hunting is archery)? I have the right size for the scope. But the clamps are way to larger for my rifle. I have a .22Lr Mendoza Puma.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm just using it for small game.

Most .22s have a grooved receiver for 3/8 dovetail rings. You probably have rings that are made for a picitinny rail.

Yep, watching the videos, it looks like you can see the 3/8" dovetail grooves on the top of the receiver, any reputable gun dealer/store should be able to get you properly set up.

Thanks a ton guys! I'm absolutely terrible with gun knowledge. But I gotta start somewhere like I did with bows.

Thank you and sorry if this was a dumb question
