I'm looking to purchase a DSLR for outdoors, hunting, and my kid's sports photos & videos and have received good feedback on a Canon R50. I'll likely pair it with a Sigma 16-3000 f3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary Lense. Any feedback on this at up would be appreciated.

I can only attest to the Canon D90, which was designed specifically for wildlife/outdoor photography. Its a fantastic camera, as I'm sure the one you are looking at is as well being a Canon. I can say I have the same Sigma lenses, and it is a fantastic lenses.

The R50 is an amazing camera. One of the most popular ones we sell. Easy to use, compact and great images. The Sigma 16-300 for the RF series won't be available until the end of the month. It's improved greatly from the one mentioned earlier and is made for mirrorless cameras. The one mentioned earlier is made for the older DSLR's
Due to the tariffs the arrival date has been adjusted once already. May get pushed back again, but worth the wait!!!

Has the RF Series Sigma 16-300 been released yet?
If so, what's the feedback thus far?

It has come out and the feedback is great. Very well received. Also available in Sony crop sensor
