Can I shoot steel Buckshot out of?

My Remington 870 Wingmaster Tc? Can’t find much info anywhere. My dad bought the gun in the late 70’s early 80’s?

You won’t have any problem shooting buckshot out of any smooth bore shotgun barrel. Some say you can shoot it out of a rifled barrel as well but I wouldn’t if I depended on that barrel to make accurate shots with rifled slugs.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I can not use buck shot out of my particular 870 with a full choke since we have to use steel shot here in California. Looks like I’m buying a new gun in the morning!

You can buy a new barrel as well
