Can I get what I need out of a 60 lb bow? (SR6)

May be worth asking them if they’d order 70# limbs in for you. I’d imagine you could get the limbs for less than $300, and then sell the 60s to put the money back in your pocket.

If not, you’ll find what you’re looking for on AT. Used bows absolutely plummet in resale.

I asked on that. Libs were like $220!

I agree with everyone it's probably best to get what a guy wants especially with how big of an investment it is. I haven't shot 70lbs a ton to know how fatigued I'd get. I'm 28 and in fairly good shape, and the 64 lbs seems pretty easy to draw so I think I'd be good.

Thanks so much for all your help guys. I very much appreciate the community here. -Weston

For many years I would buy (ebay) 60 lb bows since I could usually get much better deals on those. Ive shot elk and a pile of deer with those. Keep in mind with a good deal it also means you wont get as much for it if you sell it. If you buy a new bow every year I say get it. If you want it for 3 or 4 plus years Id say get exactly what you want. Im not sure why 70 lbs became the magic number that kills animals. Good luck
