I see camo fire has had a lot of core4 lately. Is it quality and worth getting? Does it last for backpackers?

I rock the merino top & bottom. Along with the raincoat. So far so good. Its held up. Second season on the merino. First on the coat.

I have their merino tops and bottoms and like them a lot. I also have the Switchback (lighter weight) pants and they are very good, very comparable to Sitka Ascent Pants. In my opinion the Ascent pants are a little better but not a lot.

I have the switchback pants. They are holding up very well. I have the element pants. They are probably high quality too, but I haven't worn them as much as the lighter weight switchbacks so I can't really vouch for durability. The switchbacks are much more durable than Kryptek version, which was pure junk. For the money, you probably can't beat the core4 torrent rain gear.
