Solid pants, that way I can wear whatever camo shirt or jacket that functions best without it hurting my eyes. Virtually everyone's came goes with a brown/khaki or light olive pant. Something in a sage green/gray would be a great solid color pant.

Solids are just more useful year round outside of hunting. Camo patterns are for catching hunters and establishing tribes that argue with each other about whose pattern is the best.

I prefer camo for hunting that way it gets put way after season and lasts a long time. I would buy the ptarmigan in that sage color though for doing stuff around the house in winter.

I use to hunt in camo from head to toe but have been moving in the direction of solid pants and camo tops. Reason being I want to get more versatility out of my clothing. I vote for solids @skregear!

Just a heads up we did oiffically reslease a few new solids today.
They will be available in Olive Green and Ash Brown.
They are for the Hardscrabble Pants, Hardscrabble Jacket and Ptarmigan Jacket.

A couple more products in solids will be coming out this fall.

Any chance you’re early season pants will be available in either solid?

Would be cool to see more blaze options. Would be nice to be able to ditch the cheap blaze vest we end up wearing over the jackets anyway.

Solids, I wear this gear for far more than hunting. And camo is irrelevant for all of my hunting.

Solids pants until Prana screwed the zzz with their 2.o.

Now looking for replacement…
Give the Eddie Bauer guide pro pants a shot. I just bought a pair because Prana screwed their pants. No field test yet, but I like wearing them daily.

The Forloh solair pants might be worth checking out, but they don't work for me up here. I can't think of many hunting scenarios they would in fact, but I'm sure some of you hunt in the summer somewhere.

We are close to launching several products in solid including our Hardscrabble Pant, Hardscrabble Jacket and Down Jacket.
The question is how many people hunt in solids vs camo?
I usually buy solid pants and camo tops. I really don’t care about camo unless I’m calling lions or hunting turkey

Anybody have actual studies on different animal’s ability to distinguish between camo and solids? I’ve had success with both but curious if there’s science out there to back up one vs the other.
